Hello folks my name is Mike Schneider I’m the owner of MikesTools.com. Today I would like to talk to you about the new FastCap best fence miter saw fence system. Back when Biesemeyer was Biesemeyer, Biesemeyer made a miter saw table system. You could purchase the table in sections of 2, 4, 6, or 8 foot lengths. There was no real way to attach the sections together. They were butted up against each other.  Then you screwed down the feet to a pre-existing table or bench. This was not a mobile miter saw stand. Biesemeyer made several stops for the stand as well.

There was your basic stop, a flip stop, and a miter stop. It was a very popular system and I sold many all across the country. The 6 foot and 8 foot sections did not ship very well because they were so long. UPS charged extra money for them and the feet were often damaged by the time package reached its destination. Biesemeyer has since been sold three or four times to major manufacturers. Delta Power Equipment Corporation is the current owner and chooses not to manufacture the miter saw stand.

Now along comes FastCap with their best fence system. FastCap took all the weaknesses found in the Biesemeyer system and eliminated them. FastCap’s best fence can be mounted on any miter saw stand such as Dewalt or Bosch. You could make your own stand.  The fence comes in 64 inch links and can be connected together using a male to male Connector. This is what the male to male connector looks like.

The male to male connector is basically a heavy duty clamp. The clamp allows you to hook the two Ends together and securely fasten them so there is no movement between the two sections. You can add as many sections as you choose. FastCap’s Upper Hand and Tripod supports, offer a sturdy way to extend the system as far as you want. The only limitation is the 16 foot tapes.

FastCap’s saw stops are very easy to mount and they slide smoothly along the fence. The stop can be locked in position. You can flip it out of the way so stops in the rear can be used and you do not have to re-measure for repetitive cuts.
